Underdeveloped common working abilities and a low autonomy level characterize the
mental deficient pupil in the process of working, assigning a mirroring or an imitating
character to his activity. This category of children is liable to perform independent work
only under the direct supervision of the teacher or through imitation, because they can
hardly understand the consequences of their actions on their own. |
