A species of confession literature, with ample literary opportunities, ambitiously invading cultural life, diarist writing is also a challenge for Bessarabian writers. Written about what was experienced, the notes have a seal of authenticity. They are rearranged at different levels which make a continuous exchange between them. Thus, The Journal 1986-1988 could be segmented into personal notations, that is a diary, a journal of creation and, finally, an intellectual journal.
