The signing of the Treaty of Bessarabia on October 28, 1920 by France, Great Britain, Italy and Japan, on the one hand, and Romania, on the other hand, internationally enshrined the union of the territory between the Prut and the Dniester with the ancestral hearth. Marking the centenary of this event is an opportunity to pay tribute to the forerunners who contributed to this achievement, as well as to attempt a new perspective on the events of that time. |
